Botanical Tours

Many tourists visit Bhutan to explore the rich bio-diversity of Bhutan or to simply see a piece of the pristine land. The tiny Himalayan nation has a very high biological bio-diversity with 616 bird species recorded till date (despite limited research). Of these, 464 species are resident and besides various rare bird species found in Bhutan around 14 species have been identified as globally threatened. These include White-bellied Heron, Pallas’s fish eagle, Chestnut-breasted partridge, Blyth’s tragopan, Wood snipe, Dark-rumped swift, Rufous-necked hornbill, Grey-crowned prinia and beautiful nuthatch.

Bird-watching tour to Bhutanalso provides observers the opportunity of making new discoveries and coming across bird species that are yet to be recorded. This birding tour can be made as a comprehensive birdwatching tour to Bhutan or be part of the cultural, festival or other tours.
